Departures are on Thursdays (4-day itinerary to Freeport and Nassau) and on Mondays and Saturdays (5-day itinerary to Amber Cove Dominicana and Grand Turk Island). It is just off George King Blvd at Port Canaveral cruise port. The Cove has several restaurants serving the B cruise terminals on the south side of the port. These include Fishlips Waterfront Bar and Grill, Rusty’s Seafood and Oyster Bar, Gators Dockside Sports Pub, Subway, Rising Tide, and Grills Tiki Bar.
The downside is that you have to wait for the shuttle going to and from the ship. Cruisetime Parking and ShuttleCruisetime is located southwest of Port Canaveral, on Merritt Island. It’s only about 8.5 miles from the port and the ride to the terminal takes about 15 minutes. Parking rates are simple — $10 per day, but that includes the day of your arrival and departure.
They are newer, located on the Port's north side, and serve larger ships. In January 2018 was approved the construction of a new multi-purpose cargo ship berth ("North Cargo Berth 8" / NCB8). By the project were also built a seawall (900 ft / 274 m) and a pier extension (100 ft / 31 m) with capacity to handle vessels with max LOA length 850 ft/259 m. At the new berth can be handled various heavy project cargoes (including aerospace). The USD 17,9 million berth construction contract was awarded to the Tampa-based company Orion Marine Group. The contract includes building the bulkhead, seawall, relieving platform and dredging.
The terminal includes the latest high-tech features to enable U.S. Customs and Border Control to scan thousands of cruisers and their luggage faster and more efficiently. Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal 3 has been recently redeveloped and is used mainly by Carnival Cruise Line. It is on the port’s south side next to Jetty Park Viewpoint and closest to the channel exit.
